Product Details

The Bavette steak, also known as flap steak, originates from the sirloin primal and is characterized by its coarse grain and rich, intense beef flavor. While it's a lean cut, its unique muscle structure allows it to absorb marinades exceptionally well, making it incredibly tender and flavorful when cooked correctly. It's best cooked quickly over high heat to medium-rare or medium, and then sliced thinly against the grain for maximum tenderness.
